Dear MS Shrek Families,

Thank you so much for your patience as we finalized the rehearsal schedule from January 6th through February 11th for our Middle School Shrek cast.

I am sharing a brief note of context and appreciation. I fell ill with the flu on December 15 and, unfortunately, developed pneumonia. I am just getting back on my feet as of this past Saturday, and I genuinely appreciate the flexibility and understanding our families have shown as we worked carefully to put this schedule in place.

Below is the confirmed rehearsal schedule for January 6 through February 11, 2026, in Bullet point form.

  • ❌ No rehearsal over Presidents’ Day weekend

  • ⏰ Mid-February–March rehearsal schedule will be released on February 1, once we can assess pacing through the material

To help keep rehearsals running smoothly:

  • Please keep students home if they are feeling unwell

  • Encourage hydration and good hand hygiene

  • Communicate absences due to illness when needed

A healthy cast is the best way to keep our production moving forward.
