Dear Lower School Shrek Jr. Families,
We hope this message finds you in high spirits, staying warm and ready for the magical musical journey that awaits us with Shrek, JR.! We are thrilled to have your child as part of the Lower School cast and 5th-grade crew. We look forward to creating unforgettable memories together.

As we kick off our rehearsals, please take note of the following essential reminder details for the ALL-LOWER SCHOOL REHEARSAL, which were in the information/registration.
Date: Thursday, January 8th
Time: 3:20 PM - 4:30 PM
Who: ALL LS Cast and LS Crew
Location: Lower School Theatre
Dismissal:
- Rehearsal will begin promptly at 3:20 PM in the Lower School Theatre.
- Students will be dismissed directly from their end-of-day classrooms to the theatre. Teachers will be notified in the morning that your child is attending rehearsal tomorrow. If your child is not attending tomorrow’s rehearsal, please email Ms. Kendrick, Mrs. Gimpelevich, Mr. Frank, and/or Mr. Weismark so we can update our rosters and inform teachers.
- Carpool dismissal will take place at 4:30 PM at the regular carpool line. Please have your carpool number placard visible when picking up your child.
- If your child will be picked up by another person/guardian, please have them make a placard with your carpool number on it. If your child is riding home with another family, please let us know in advance by emailing Ms. Kendrick and Mrs. Gimpelevich.
Snack and Hydration:
- Students should bring a snack and water to the rehearsal.
- Snack and hydration time will be from 3:20 PM to 3:30 PM.
- Rehearsal will commence at 3:30 PM and conclude at 4:30 PM.
Scripts Distribution:
- All Lower School participants will receive their scripts at the first rehearsal.
We understand the importance of clear communication and want to ensure that everyone is well-prepared and informed. The Show blog is the communication hub for all information regarding the show. Please join our LS Remind group (so you never miss an important reminder or update), follow our show blog (you can follow the blog by email as well, simply enter your email address into the " Get New posts by email box on the left side of the blog), and mark these details on your calendars.
There are tabbed pages at the top of the blog, which you can also use to find information such as the Sunday FAQ, LS Cast, and LS Schedule tabs. If your child is a 5th-grade tech pioneer serving on the crew, please bookmark our crew page for all updates, schedules, and FAQs. Along the side of the blog, you will find headers and links to schedules, vocal tracks, forms, dance videos, and more, which will be added over the next several months for quick access.
The January full schedule will be released in December. The February and March Lower School rehearsal schedules will be released on the blog at the beginning of January.
